North and South

These guys are supposed to be Southern soldiers. They're reenacting session and shooting off their guns and cannons. I missed most of this because I was sitting in the car with the dogs, making sure they were well hydrated and relaxed. It was because of this that I accidentally caused a problem with our vehicle, causing the battery to die and my Dad to have to get a ride into town with a stranger to buy a new one. It was 80 degrees, sweltering and so I turned on the A/C. How was I supposed to know that if the motor wasn't on that the battery would die? Amusing family trip anecdote? Maybe not that amusing. Charleston 1-Meaghan 0. Dammit.
